Frequently Asked Question
Do I need to install AMD or NVIDIA drivers?
Last Updated a year ago
You will need to know the model of your GPU if your system came with one, and then proceed to the correct website to download and install video drivers.
You can find out what GPU you have by reading the description/title on your computer's order page/receipt. You can also find out by going to Task Manager, hitting "More Details," and clicking the Performance tab. Select "GPU 0," and the name should be listed in the top right of the window.
Here are a few common GPUs and whether they are AMD or NVIDIA.
